Kiwanis attend Fall Training

Twelve Swainsboro Kiwanians attended the Georgia District of Kiwanis Fall Training that was held on October 26, 2013 at Wesleyan College in Macon. The Fall Training began with a General Session that lasted for an hour and a half. During this time, the Georgia District Officers were introduced and Past Governor Dewey Smith discussed the #1 initiative of Kiwanis International, Growth. After the General Session was over, three one-hour classes were held. During each hour, every Kiwanian present had a choice of nine different classes to attend. Some of the classes being taught were: Kiwanis 101, Kiwanis 102, Public Relations, The Eliminate Project, Effective Club Meetings, Key Club, Circle K, K-KIds, Builders Club, Secretary’s Training, Key Leader Program, Interclubbing, Kiwanis One Day, Training for Club Directors, Membership Growth and Retention, Kiwanis Service-Its what we do, Keep it in the K Family, and Starting the Conversation. At the end of the training classes, a delicious lunch was served.
