Twelve Swainsboro Kiwanians attended the Georgia District of Kiwanis Fall Training that was held on October 26, 2013 at Wesleyan College in Macon. The Fall Training began with a General Session that lasted for an hour and a half. During this time, the Georgia District Officers were introduced and Past Governor Dewey Smith discussed the #1 initiative of Kiwanis International, Growth. After the General Session was over, three one-hour classes were held. During each hour, every Kiwanian present had a choice of nine different classes to attend. Some of the classes being taught were: Kiwanis 101, Kiwanis 102, Public Relations, The Eliminate Project, Effective Club Meetings, Key Club, Circle K, K-KIds, Builders Club, Secretary’s Training, Key Leader Program, Interclubbing, Kiwanis One Day, Training for Club Directors, Membership Growth and Retention, Kiwanis Service-Its what we do, Keep it in the K Family, and Starting the Conversation.
