Sheriff’s Report for June 26, 2013

Emanuel County Sheriff’s Deputies reported:

   Victim struck a turkey while traveling on Hwy. 56 North, causing moderate damage to the vehicle.

   Victim on Fairground Rd. stated that the suspect is renting a mobile home from him. Victim stated that the suspect made threats towards him and his wife and he wanted him off of his property. Victim stated that, after the suspect left, he called the victim and stated that he was going to do him bodily harm.

   June 19

   Victim on Park Circle Dr. stated that when she arrived home, the suspect’s dogs came over to her vehicle and were barking at her and would not let her out of her vehicle.

   Victim on Dellwood Main St. stated that she met the suspect on the internet and he said he was going to catch a plane to come see her. Victim stated that she told him no and he stated that he was going to have her locked up because he worked at the county jail where he was from. Victim stated that he also told her if she wanted to ever see her kids again, she better let him come see her.

   Victim stated that, while traveling on Hwy. 25 North, he observed something in the roadway, but could not avoid it due to on coming traffic. Victim stated that he struck the object, causing damage to the vehicle.

   Victim on Canoochee-Garfield Rd. stated that, while at Lowe’s, she lost her change purse with her ATM card in it.

   June 20

   Victim on Lake Luck Dr. stated that, sometime during the night, an unknown suspect came onto her property and stole four solar paneled outdoor lights from around her driveway.

   June 21

   Complainant at Sweat’s Package Shop stated that the suspect attempted to cash a non-valid money order.

   June 22

   Victim on Lambs Bridge Rd. stated that, when she arrived at her residence, she noticed that an unknown suspect had entered her home and stolen several items.

   June 23

   Victim on Glenwood Rd. stated that he went out of town and, when he returned, he noticed the suspect had entered his residence and stole several items.

   Victim on Stagecoach Rd. stated that the suspect has been sending her text messages stating that he is going to do her and her family bodily harm.
