Miss Page honored at cook-out

Miss Rachel Michelle Page, bride-elect of Chad Burkhalter, was honored with an Out-door Living Shower and Cook-Out Saturday night, May 18, 7 p.m. at the home of Mark and Shelli Smith.
A John Deere theme was used to decorate the party area in recognition of Chad’s employment as a tractor salesman with Ag Pro Mershon. Yellow and green table coverings. Burlap squares topped with Mason jars of white and yellow daisies.
Beverages were served from porcelain enamel John Deere beverage dispenser. Grilled Pork Chops, Sweet ‘n’ Sour Green Beans, Cheesy Potato Casserole and Rolls. Dessert choices were Banana pudding, Chocolate Delight , or Pound Cake served with sliced strawberries and vanilla ice cream.
The hosts and hostesses presented the couple with a pair of Rocking Adirondack Chairs.
The bride-to-be chose a beautiful royal blue dress with embroidered bell sleeves for the occasion.
The couple presented Pork Rub and Caribbean-scented Candle’s to the host and hostesses an appreciation gift.
Special guests included parents of the bride–elect, Burley and Connie Page; parents of the groom–elect, Charles and Wynette Burkhalter; siblings of the bride–elect, Bryan and Kimberly Cooper and Brandon Page. The bride’s paternal uncle and aunt, Harmon and Annelle Norris.
Host and Hostesses for the event were Mark and Shelli Smith, William and Sandy Brett, Andy and Heather Cook, Gus and Angie Cooper, Brandon and Whitney Claxton, Alyx Duckworth, M. L. and Mary Pate Gay, Andy and Jessica Johnson, Paul and Cathy McDaniel and JoJo and Brooke Rivenbark.
