Wayne Keith Kirby, 60

   Funeral services for Wayne Keith Kirby, 60, will be Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Louis Pearce officiating. Interment will be in the Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. George Grimes officiating. He died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at his residence after an extended illness.

   Mr. Kirby was a native of Emanuel County, a retired construction worker from Spirit Construction, a member of Morningside Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his father, David Kirby.

   Survivors include his wife, Jeannie Edenfield Kirby of Swainsboro; two daughters, Jeannie Lei Woods (Tony) and Ivy Michelle Kirby, both of Swainsboro; one son, Patrick Wayne Kirby (Christy) of Swainsboro; his mother, Hazel Kirby of Swainsboro; one sister, Diane Kirby of MacClenny, Fla.; three brothers, Ronald Kirby of Twin City, Danny Kirby ( Brenda), Bruce Kirby (Dana), all of Swainsboro; seven grandchildren.

   Pallbearers will be Wesley Hutchinson, Brad Kirby, Adam Edenfield, Shannon Wilkerson, Vince Brown and Ray Cox. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Kirby, Randy Hooks and Ricky Hooks.

   Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors had charge of arrangements.
