Project Respect to begin

   Plans are underway for Emanuel County Institute middle school

students to journey through Project Respect, a program designed to

instill respect for self and others. Parents are invited to join

their children as they rotate through the following sessions: Mind

Coach: Learning to Think Positive and Feel Good; Risky Behaviors

and the Consequences; Suicide Prevention; and Bullying and Its

Effects.

   Project Respect will be held on Tuesday, October 18. Eighth

grade students will participate from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.;

seventh grade students from 11:20 a.m. until 12:55 p.m.; and sixth

grade students from 1:25 p.m.  until 2:55 p.m. Parents may

participate with their students or join the sessions at their

convenience.
