Sheriff Report for August 31, 2011

   Emanuel County Sheriff’s Deputies reported:

   August 19

   Victim stated that the suspect came onto his property on Acorn

Lane and took a vehicle.

   August 22 

   Victim stated that unknown suspects came onto his property on

Lambs Bridge Rd. and damaged some of his trees. Deputy found

footprints leading to the suspects’ residence. Upon questioning,

suspects confessed.

   Victim stated that unknown suspects came onto his property on

Fannie Brewer Rd. and damaged his hay bales. Deputy found

footprints leading to the suspects’ residence. Upon questioning,

suspects confessed.

   Victim on Buckwill Dr. stated that the suspect has been

harassing her.

   Victim on Blum Rd. stated that the tag was stolen from his

vehicle.

   Victim on King Dr. stated that the suspect called and threatened

him.

   August 23

   Victim struck five wild hogs while traveling on Old Nunez Rd.

causing moderate damage to the vehicle.

   Suspect was arrested on Pinecone Way for an outstanding arrest

warrant.

   Victim at Emanuel Women’s Transitional Center stated that the

suspect left threatening messages on her voicemail.

   Victim on Canoochee Rd. stated that the suspect snatched the

phone cords out of the wall and threw something at the front door

of her residence causing damage to it.

   Victim on Bonnie Rd. stated that the suspect struck her in the

head several times.

   Victim stated that there was a fire behind her house on

Canoochee-Garfield Rd. She believes that the fire was set

intentionally.

   August 24 

   The road department found seven dead hogs in the road on Hwy

297.

   Victim struck a deer while traveling on Hwy 80 W. causing

moderate damage to the vehicle.

   Victim on Olifftown Rd. stated that an unknown suspect stole a

pressure washer from his shop.

   Victim stated that an unknown suspect attempted to break into

her residence on Summertown Main St. and damaged the door.

   Victim on Mixon Rd. stated that two dogs attacked and killed a

cow at his residence on 8/23/11. Victim stated that they returned

on this date and were attacking another cow he owns.

   August 25 

   Victim stated that an unknown suspect keyed her vehicle while it

was parked at a residence on Wadley Coleman Lake Rd.

   Victim stated that he purchased a motor from the suspect on N.

Railroad Ave. with the agreement that the suspect would reimburse

him if the motor was damaged. Victim stated that the suspect

refuses to give him back his money.

   Victim stated that the suspect grabbed her around the neck and

pushed her while at the suspect’s residence on Hwy 80 E.

   Victim on Hwy 80 E. stated that the suspect took his vehicle and

approximately $900.

   Victim stated that an unknown suspect was stealing power at a

residence on Old Wadley Rd. Victim also stated that a service

return device and power meter were missing from the residence.

   August 26

   Victim stated that the suspect was trespassing in her residence

on Watson Rd. while she was not there.

   Victim stated that the suspect came to his residence on Johnson

Powell Rd.   without permission.

   Victim stated that an unknown suspect broke into his residence

on Kersey Cross Rd. and took several items.

   August 27 

   Suspect was stopped on Hwy 80 W. and was found to have cocaine

in his possession. Suspect was arrested.

   Victim stated that an unknown suspect came onto his property on

George L. Smith Rd. and stole several items.

   Victim stated that an unknown suspect cut the post to her

property gate on Odomville Church Rd. with a chainsaw.

   Victim struck a hog while traveling on Wadley Coleman Lake Rd.

causing damage to the vehicle.

   August 28 

   Victim found the suspect’s vehicle on his property on Martin Rd.

and requested that it be removed.

   Suspect was found trespassing on and removing items from the

victim’s property on Hwy 56 S. Suspect was arrested.

   Suspect was found on Hwy 56 N. driving a stole vehicle while

intoxicated. Suspect wrecked the vehicle and was arrested.
