Emanuel County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee recently announced

the winners in its annual Art Contest for high school students.

Each year the drawings are judged on how well the artwork

represents modern agriculture found in our county, as well as their

artistic merit.

This year’s winners were Kaidy English-1st Place, Jenny Lin-2nd

Place, and Lynquez Blair-3rd place.  All are students of Dabney

Edenfield’s art class at Swainsboro High School.  Each of the top

three winners were given a cash prize and certificates were given

to all participants.  English was also chosen as the District 7

winner. The District is comprised of 20 counties and she received

an additional cash prize for this honor.    English’s picture will

be used in all District 7 literature during the next year, as well

as an annual art calendar produced by Georgia Farm Bureau.
