The morning of Wednesday, March 30, 2011, was set aside to honor

UPS drivers for their excellence in safety for achieving over 5,000

safe working and driving days.

During this celebration, service providers Steve Johnson and

Mike Henry received special honors.  Both drivers were recently

inducted into UPS’s Circle of Honor.  Circle of Honor is the

highest level of driving recognition.  It honors those drivers who

have demonstrated their professional driving skills by achieving 25

years of safe driving. Drivers enjoyed breakfast

and the honorees were presented a host of service awards by

management.

Johnson and Henry have definitely proven their dedication to

safety.  They have serviced numerous businesses and residential

locations during their course as drivers.  Combined, they have

given the company 50 years of safe driving! Johnson’s course has

gained him approximately 1,250,000 miles of safe driving. Henry’s

stands at roughly 1,100,000 miles.   This achievement speaks for

itself and has made a huge impact on the company at our local level

and continues to leave a mark as a model for our younger drivers to

pattern.

“This is a milestone that is worthy of celebration,” remarked

Business Manager Lynn Morris.

Johnson resides in Twin City Georgia.  Mike Henry resides in

Adrian.
