OP Church of God to hold special service

The People’s Full Gospel Church on Hwy. 292 near Lyons will have Homecoming on Sunday, March 13. Services will begin at 11 a.m. There will be different singing groups. Guest speaker will be Rev. Don Hughes. Bring a covered dish meal and enjoy the day. The pastor is Sister Wauthene Stewart.

   Brianna and Heath Phan went to visit their daddy, Binh Phan and family Friday afternoon and stayed until Sunday afternoon.

   Joe Black of Richmond Hill came last Tuesday and stayed until Thursday with his mother, Mrs. Johnnie Black.

   Debbie Brogdon had a good turnout at her jewelry party Saturday night at the home of her mother, Mrs. Lade Williamson.

   The Vidalia First Assembly of God will have The Rubies in charge of the evening services on Sunday, March 6. A cordial invitation is extended to everyone. The pastor is Rev. David Knight.

   Don’t forget Daylight Savings Time begins March 13. That means you will have to get up an hour earlier.

   We would like to wish a special happy birthday to Barbara Gibson and Ashley Crowe on March 1. We hope they have a wonderful day and more.

   The Calvary Assembly on Hwy. 292 will have Rev. Kenny Dunn on Saturday, March 19 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 20 at 10:30 a.m. A cordial invitation is extended to everyone. Pastor is Rev. Frank Harrelson.

   We would like to wish a special happy birthday to Eloise Edenfield on March 1. We hope she has a great day and many more.

   The Oak Park Church of God will host Win Our World on Sunday, March 13. Sunday School will begin at 10 a.m. and morning worship at 11 a.m. Dinner will follow the service. Come and bring a covered dish meal and enjoy the day.

   The Oak Park Church of God will be having Sunday Night Live every Sunday. Services begin at 6 p.m. They will have special music and singing along with powerful preaching. A cordial invitation is extended. Pastor is Rev. Phillip Kirkland.
