Many local churches to hold special services

 The Kingsman Quartet will be singing at the South Thompson Baptist Church Saturday, Feb. 5. Service will begin at 7 p.m. A love offering will be received. A cordial invitation is extended. The pastor is Rev. B.L. Horne.

   The McHarry’s from Alabama will be at the Calvary Assembly on Hwy. 292 East of Vidalia Saturday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Come expecting a miracle from God. The pastor is Rev. Frank Harrelson.

   We would like to wish a special happy birthday to Jessica Reynolds on February 1; Jennifer Carter on February 3; Brianna Phan on February 7 and to Julie Davis on February 8. We hope each one of you has a great day and many more.

   We would like to wish a special happy birthday to Betty Kelley on February 2. We hope she has a great day and many more. 

Debbie Brogdon is spending some time with her mother, Mrs. Lade Williamson.

   Dori Daniels of Metter went to Homecoming with her mother, Esther Trammell, at United Fellowship Baptist Church in Oak Park Sunday.

   The Faith Assembly of God on Skyline Blvd. in Lyons will have a Valentine banquet Saturday, Feb. 12 at 6 p.m. You may call for more information. The pastor is Rev. David Edenfield.

   The Lake Side Baptist Church on Hwy. 292 in Vidalia will have Sweetheart Sunday on February 13 at 11 a.m. A cordial invitation is extended. The pastor is Rev. Michael Andrews.

   Pray for our service personal that God will protect them and bring them home safe.

   The pastor and members of the Pendleton Creek Community Church extends a cordial invitation to come and worship with them. Their Wednesday service is at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday services are at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. The pastor is Rev. Gary Roberson.

   Eudene Peebles attended the service at the Pendleton Creek Community Church Sunday evening.

   We would like to wish a special happy birthday to Dana Roundtree and Ruth Hall on Friday, Feb. 4 and Brian Byrd on Saturday, Feb. 5. We hope each one of you has a great day and many more.

   Faye McCumbers is in the hospital and will have surgery Monday. Please remember her in prayer.
