Phillip E. Marsh, 47

Phillip E. Marsh, age 47, of Swainsboro, GA passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Emanuel Medical Center after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Monday, October 25, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with his sister, Pastor Erlene Rowland officiating. Interment followed in Swainsboro City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were John Henry, Wayne Hall, Anthony Douglas, Eric Douglas, Blais Chance and Richard Thompson.

Mr. Marsh was a native of Emanuel County, a machinist, an avid fisherman and a Baptist.

He we preceded in death by his parents, Buck and Annie Akridge Marsh; and brother, Melvin Marsh.

Survivors Include his wife, Angie Marsh; one daughter, Kimberly Taylor of Callahan, Fla.; three sons, P. J. Marsh of Midville, Dakota Marsh of Callahan, Fla. and Dylan Marsh of Swainsboro; five sisters, Joyce McIntee of Swainsboro, Erlene Rowland of Statesboro, Shelby Chance of Wadley, Gail Williamson of Swainsboro and Marie Brown of Midville; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
