Mr. Charles Arnez Frànklin, age 39, of Swainsboro died Saturday at the Medical College of Georgia after an extended illness. Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010 at 2 p.m., at St. Philip Baptist church in Swainsboro with Pastor Joe Cephus Presiding, and Apostle A.T. Pringle, SR.,
Eulogist. Interment followed in the Mt. Gilead Church Cemetery near Canoochee.
Mr. Franklin was a native and life long resident of Emanusi County where he attended the public schools, and was employed With Advanced Metal Components in Swalnaboro
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Precious Crumbley Franklin; two sons, Ce’Von and Cameron Franklin of Swainsboro; his father, Johnny Phil Franklin of Hobesound, Fla.; paternal grandmother, Martha Byrd of Philadelphia, PA.; paternal grandfather, Johnny Franklin ofof Swainsboro; mother-in-law, Gwen Ford of Swainsboro; two sisters, Golden Jackson and April Wilkins of Atlanta; four brothers, Frederick Franklin, Leo Wilkins III, Darren Wilkins, and Jonah Wilkins all of Atlanta; and many other relatives and friends.
Reno Tapley Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
