Emanue´ole Opry to be held March 5

Celebrating the music and culture of Emanuel County, the Emanue’ole Opry will take place Friday, March 5 beginning at 7 p.m. in the East Georgia College Auditorium in the Luck Gambrell building. Presented by the Emanuel Arts Council, this popular event showcases local talent performing traditional and classic country music. Opry Band members Lige Moore, Phil Wilson, Donald Jenkins and Billy Cooler will be joined by Alan Brasher, Glen Watkins, Mark Lillquist, Will Gay, Tim Palmer, Sylvia Seville Gay, Sharon Durden, Janise Drake, Anna Kate Willoughby, Betsy Johnson and Bobby Smith.

Priced at $10 each or $15 for a couple, tickets for the event can be purchased at the Emanuel Arts Council; at the Swainsboro/Emanuel County Chamber of Commerce; or at the door.
