Local churches to hold special services

The Christian Family Life Center announced a singing program held on the last Saturday night of the month. They are located West of Soperton on Highway 29 at I -16. Local singing groups will be conducting the program. It is held in the auditorium at 7 p.m. The public is always invited. Rev Robert Kea is president.
Congratulation Mrs. Barbara Hudson of Adrian on the birth of a great grandson. Grandparents are Dale and Lori Hudson of Wrightsville, who is Barbara’s daughter. Parents of the 7 lb. 4 oz boy is Mr. and Mrs. Brian Hooks of Wrightsville. They named him Channon Brian.
Good news for Adrian! Word has it that they will be getting a dollar store in the very near future, more about this later.
The Safe Harbor Worship Center on Nora Boulevard has completed the second phase of building which is the new Sunday school rooms. The first Sunday school class will be held March 7. Sunday School is at 10 a.m. Worship service is at 11 a.m. If you are not attending a church or enrolled in Sunday school you are invited to attend. The public is always invited.
The Blackville Church of God is having an appreciation day for Pastor Ashley Way on March 7. Church will begin at 10:50 a.m. It is to be a covered dish luncheon in the church social hall. Everyone is invited to attend.
