Mildred Ingram Bohannon

Mrs. Mildred Ingram Bohannon, of Swainsboro, died Friday, Dec. 25, 2009 at Heritage Healthcare in Swainsboro. Funeral services were held Sunday, Dec. 27 at 2 p.m. in the Swainsboro First Baptist Church with Dr. Bob Blankenship and Reverend Argin Floyd officiating. Interment followed in the Eastbrook Cemetery.

Mrs. Bohannon, born in Butts County, had lived in Emanuel County for several years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Swainsboro First Baptist Church,

She was preceded in death by her parents, George E. Ingram and Lexie James Ingram; and a brother, Emerson Ingram.

Survivors include her husband, James Bohannon of Swainsboro; one daughter, Nona Farmer (Kevin) of Millen; four brothers, Olin Ingram (Sue) of Loganville; Richard Ingram, Carlton Ingram, and Joe Ingram of Jackson; two sisters, Helen Ingram andShirley Gay (Donny) of Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of Flowers, Memorials may be sent to “Operation Christmas Child”, Samaritans Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone NC. 26607

Tomlinson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
