Veterans Day program to be held

The staff and friends of the Franklin Memorial Library will be hosting a program and reception on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009 at 3 p.m. to honor veterans. The program will be held at the Franklin Memorial Library. Featured speaker for the program will be Judge Bobby Reeves. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served for four years as Judge Advocate General with the rank of Captain. He has been active in religious and civic affairs and has a long history of service to the community. The program will also feature local Boy Scout Troop 75, the Sixth Grade Ensemble from the Adrian School of Performing Arts as well as three soloists. A reception will be held in the Smith Room immediately following the program. Tributes to veterans written by local people will be displayed in the Smith Room. Please come and show your support for veterans. All veterans are invited as well as the public.
