Miss Rich, Mr. Steptoe announce engagement

Kenneth and Linda Rich of Twin City announce the engagement of their daughter, Kendall Lynn Rich of Twin City, to James David Steptoe of Swainsboro. The future groom is the son of Bobby Joe and Joyce Steptoe of Swainsboro.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Clarence Rich of Twin City and the late Mary S. Rich and the late Johnny and Pauline Baker. Kendall graduated as an honored graduate from Emanuel County Institute in 1999, and Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2002. She is employed at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia as an emergency room nurse. She is a member of Friendship Free
Will Baptist Church in Twin City.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Lonnie and Essie Edenfield and the late G.L. and Ruby
Steptoe. David is a 1994, graduate of Swainsboro High School. He received an electrical construction degree from Swainsboro Technical College in 2002. He is currently pursuing a business degree from East Georgia College. He is employed at East Georgia College as the assistant director of plant operations.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at 6:15 p.m. at Mount Shady Baptist Church near Swainsboro. A reception will be held in the church social hall following the ceremony.
