Football is off to a good start this year. The Tigers beat Washington County 7-6 in a scrimmage game held August 14.

Scott Roberts, Head Coach, reports that in the off season, the team has made some improvements in both their overall attitude and the kicking game. They have also learned a lot about different coaching techniques.

The Tigers lost many players to graduation last year but that leaves room for the younger players to step up and take more responsibility.

“We’re looking forward to support from the student body, the band, cheerleaders, and the fans,” said Coach Roberts.

The next game is September 4 in Vidalia. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. Come show your Tiger Pride!
