July 4th car show to be held downtown

This weekend to celebrate the 4th of July, The Downtown Development Authority and Eastwood Church of God will host the 3rd Annual Classic Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show in Downtown Swainsboro. The event will take will take place in Historic Downtown Swainsboro on The Square and Green Street. The weekly yarsale on the Boneyard is still scheduled to take place. This July 4th event will showcase classic cars and motorcycles from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Awards and trophies will be given at 3 p.m. several categories, among them: Top 20 Cars, Top 3 Trucks, Top 3 Motorcycles and Special Awards for Best Car Best / Best Truck / Best Motorcycle.

  This July 4th event Downtown is free for spectators and there are still openings to register your classic car! The July 4th Classic Car Show will also feature Good Music, Great Food and Door Prizes. The first 50 Cars Registered will receive Dash Plaques and Goodie Bags. Before the fireworks begin to celebrate July 4th, the DDA and Eastwood Church of God invite you to attend the 3rd Annual Classic Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show in Downtown Swainsboro.
