    Get your lawn chairs and popcorn ready! On Friday night, July 17th, the Forest-Blade and Swainsboro/Emanuel County Chamber of Commerce will offer a special night of free fun for the entire family.

    Making its first appearance at the Swainsboro/Emanuel County Recreation Complex on McLeod Bridge Road will be “Movies under the Stars” showing “Night At The Museum,” a 20th Century Fox hit movie. Rating for the movie is PG.

    As motorists take to the roads this week for the July Fourth holiday travel period, the Georgia State Patrol is reminding drivers to plan their travels carefully, keeping safety as the number one priority.
