Swainsboro Tiger score updates

Tuesday night the Swainsboro Tigers boys’ basketball team captured an important victory in region play as they defeated Southeast Bulloch 49-37.  Tigers are now 9-9 overall and 4-4 on their side of Region 3AA.

On Saturday night, the Tigers traveled to Bleckley County and improved to 10-9 with a 59-47 victory.  Check back soon for the game story!  Next game is Tuesday night in Burke County.

    Emanuel County has recieved a dividend in the amount of $23,243 from the Association County Commissioners of Georgia – Group Self-Insurance Workers’ Compensation Fund (ACCG – GSIWCF). The dividend is Emanuel County’s share of a $3 million dividend declared by the Board of Trustees.     Kyle and Ragan Adkins of Waycross announce the birth of their daughter, Laney Grace Adkins, January 1, 2009 at Satilla Regional Medical in Waycross.
