Scott promoted to chief warrant officer

Joshua Scott of Twin City was recently promoted to the Army rank of Chief Warrant Officer Officer-3 (CW-3). He is currently assigned to the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah as a Blackhawk helicopter pilot. His unit, known as the “Nightstalkers,” provides helicopter aviation support to general purpose forces and Special Operations Forces for the Army.
His wife is Jamie and they have two daughters, Jerica, 4; and Janna, 7 months. They reside in Rincon. He has served the Army for seven years and has successfully completed multiple tours in Iraq. He is a 1998 graduate of Emanuel County Institute
