Minnie Bell Shoemake

SWAINSBORO—Funeral for Minnie Bell Shoemake Stephens-Tiller will be held Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007 at 3 p.m. at The Greater St. James Baptist Church in Swainsboro with Rev. Bennie Brinson officiating. Burial was in Swainsboro City Cemetery. She died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, at Emanuel Medical Center after a brief illness.

Mrs. Stephens-Tiller was a native and resident of Emanuel County, where she attended public schools and was a member of The Greater Saint James Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Mattie Parker and Christine Parker, of Swainsboro; and Evangelist Martha Baldwin of Bridgeton, N.J.; three sons, Ralph Parker, Johnny Parker and John E. Parker, all of Swainsboro; one brother, Earnest Shoemake of New York, N.Y.; three sisters; Rosie Lee James and Sarah Mae Sampson of Rosehayn, N.J.; and Doris Harmon Davis of Swainsboro; a stepdaughter, Sarah Arvinger of Cranberry, N.J.; two stepsons, Tommie Tiller of Tampa, Fla.; and James Tiller of Cranberry, N.J.; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and greatgreat grandchildren.

Reno Tapley Mortuary has charge of arrangements.
