East Georgia College’s Division of Continuing Education will lead a trip to the Georgia Aquarium, the World’s largest aquarium in Atlanta on Saturday, Oct. 27.

The aquarium includes cold water creatures such as whale sharks, beluga whales, sea lions, sea otters, penquins, giant octopus, spider crabs and much more. Participants will visit the Georgia Explorer Gallery, a high interactive gallery with touchtanks of horseshoe crabs, sea stars, stingrays and shrimp. A large scale model of a right whale shark is available for kids to crawl through. A barrier reef aquarium presents a wide diversity of marine life to view through an acrylic tunnel or a large window and a coral reef with stunning exhibits of fish and coral.

Participants will dine at the food court on site and visit the gift shops. Group will depart EGC at 8 a.m. and return at approximately 7 p.m. Fee for the trip is $79 and includes transportation and admission. Registration is required by Oct. 5 to ensure ticket availability.
