Flint River Academy remained undefeated in the 2007 season with a 41-8 win over David Emanuel Academy last Friday night in Stillmore. The Wildcats improved to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the region while the Eagles dropped to 1-2 overall and 1-1 in the region.

The visitors from Woodbury utilized a relentless running attack mixed with a rare pass to score 20 first half points and eventually go on to a 41-0 advantage by the fourth quarter. DEA prevented the shutout when Joseph Sparks ran in off the left side from 15 yards out. John Mark Sweat ran the two point conversion following the score by Sparks.

DEA will look to rebound this week when they make the long trip to LaGrange to play Dawson Street Christian School. Flint River will host Curtis Baptist who defeated Young Americans Christian 63-0 for their first win of the year. Dawson Street is 1-3 overall and 1-1 in the region with a win over Young Americans (64-0) and losses to Tiftarea (33- 6), Randolph Southern (32-8) and John Hancock (26-14).
