    Senior Dannielle Holland went two for three, including a triple, as David Emanuel Academy rolled by Curtis Baptist 10- 3 in North Augusta, South Carolina last Tuesday. The win was the first for the season and the first for new head coach Kristi Garrett as the Lady Eagles improved to 1-1.

    The girls’ volleyball team hosted the volleyball matches at SHS on Thursday August 16. The game began at 5:00 p.m. Participating teams were SHS, Savannah Christian, and Toombs County. Before the tri-match tournament began, team member Chasity Passmore commented, “I hope we do really well. I think we will play our hardest and do our best.
