Arrests made this week
Emanuel County Sheriff’s deputies reported making arrests. Cases logged were:
A Mustang Rd. woman reported someone stole the radio from her son’s truck.
A Harrington St., Oak park woman reported two people, whom she identified, stole her prescription medication.
Employee at Clark Metal Craft reported someone burglarized the store. Arrested for the burglary was Matthew Felix Wilkes, 27, 129 Sycamore Lane, Swainsboro.
A Herring Lane, Adrian woman reported someone stole two boxes of her silver coins.
A King Circle Dr. woman reported four people stole her air conditioner.
A Cypress Ave., Twin City family reported a man, who was identified, came to his home and caused trouble.
Victor Jimenez Jarquin, 27, 75 N. Lewis St. Apt. A, Metter was arrested for disorderly conduct and driving without a license.
An Azalia Circle man reported his vehicle tag was missing.
A Mt. Shady Church Rd. woman reported someone entered her residence and stole some items.
Deputy reported an abandoned vehicle on New St.
An Old Kea Pond Rd., Adrian woman reported someone stole some items from her storage shed.
An E. Liberty St., Lyons woman reported her estranged husband took their 9-month-old baby and refused to return the child.
A Hwy. 23, Garfield man reported a woman, whom he identified, stole his laptop computer and pawned it.
Deputy reported a stolen trailer was returned to a man on Canoochee Bypass, Twin City.
An Odomville Church Rd., Adrian man reported a man, who was identified, used his identity to obtain a cell phone.
A Hwy. 80 E. man male reported someone stole some items from his mobile home.
A woman driving on Leman Rd. reported her car caught on fire.
Robin Champion, 43, 209 N. Southwest Rd., Lyons was arrested for disorderly conduct.
A Norristown woman reported she and a man, whom she identified, were arguing over ownership of property when the suspect grabbed her throat and started choking her.
A Johnson Powell Rd. woman reported someone stole a welder and thermometer from her car port.
A Red Oak Rd. woman reported someone damaged her car.
Deputy reported an abandoned vehicle on Hwy. 57 E., Stillmore.
A Dellwood Rd. woman reported someone spread tissue paper over her yard and egged her house.
A Bird Flanders Rd. man reported someone stole $700 from his home.
Andrew Knight Jr., 50, 321 Pughsley St., Swainsboro was arrested on a bench warrant.
Matthew H. Smith, 25, 648 Canoochee Rd., Swainsboro, was arrested for child support.
