Winskie named assistant director of CCR&R

Dr. Richard Thornton, vice President of Instruction at Swainsboro Technical College, announced that effective April 24, Jaclyn Winskie will be the Assistant Director of Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) of East Central Georgia at Swainsboro Technical College.

A native of Swainsboro, Winskie lives in Vidalia with her husband Jim. She obtained a bachelor of business administration degree at Georgia Southern University and received a Masters of Education degree from Troy University. She is the daughter of Lynda English and the late Jack English.

Prior to joining Swainsboro Technical College, Winskie was vice-president of Winskie Financial Group. She also has worked in the technical college system for seven years. She is a member of the Downtown Vidalia “Main Street” Association.

“I look forward to being a part of Swainsboro Technical College and am looking forward to working with the Child Care Resource and Referral Agency in the 17 counties that we serve,” said Winskie.

“Jaclyn has a very impressive resume,” commented Dr. Thornton. “I feel certain she will be a great asset to our CCR&R Program.”
