MILLEN—Funeral for Dicie Boyd Lykins was held Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Ellis Chapel Methodist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. She died Wednesday, Jan, 19, 2005.

Mrs. Lykins served her country during World War II by working on military airplanes and weaponry. She also worked in the textile manufacturing industry and at Mutual of Omaha and Nationwide insurance companies. She was preceded in death by … Read More

    Cindy Lynch, owner operator of Bangles hair salon, has been missing since Tuesday evening Jan. 19. Lynch, who was living on a cabin cruiser boat docked at Thunderbolt Marina, was reported missing by her husband, Chet Lynch, on Wednesday.

    The DEA B-team basketball teams traveled to St Simons Island last Thursday to face Frederica Academy. Unfortunately, however, neither team brought a victory home as the Knights emerged victorious in both contests.
