WADLEY—Graveside service for Palmer Gordon Edenfield Jr., 82, was held Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Wadley Cemetery with Rev. Tom Harrison officiating. He died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004 at Azalea Trace Nursing Center in Columbus.

A native of Wadley, Mr. Edenfield was a retired vice president of the Bank of Wadley and a United States Navy veteran.

Survivors include his aunt, Emma Smith of Statesboro; a sister, Betty Smith of Columbus; a nephew, Thomas Garrett and his wife, Cheryl, of Swainsboro; a niece, Melissa Coker of Columbus; and several great nieces and nephews.

Memorial may be made to Wiregrass Hospice, 507 Dillingham St., Phenix City, AL 36867.

Smith Funeral Home of Wadley had charge of arrangements.
